Meet BIRAJ NAKARJA
Biraj Nakarja is the founder of Innate Compass, a leadership development consultancy helping leaders and teams turn individual insight into collective performance.
With more than 20 years' experience across senior corporate leadership, entrepreneurship and board-level roles, Biraj brings a perspective shaped not only by developing leaders, but by having led teams, built businesses and navigated many of the challenges his clients face themselves.
His career has given him experience of leadership from multiple perspectives - from working within complex corporate environments and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams, to building, running and selling his own business and contributing at board level as a Non-Executive Director.
Today, Biraj works with leaders and leadership teams to build greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships and collaboration, create shared direction and turn insight into meaningful action. His clients have included organisations such as L'Oréal, M&S, Charlotte Tilbury, the NHS, Glanbia and Wieden+Kennedy.
As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and Certified Lego® Serious Play® facilitator, Biraj combines coaching, facilitation and experiential development to create work that is practical, engaging and grounded in the realities of leadership. Rather than applying a single methodology to every challenge, he draws on the right tools and approaches for the needs of each leader and team.
At the heart of his approach is a simple belief: sustainable performance starts with people understanding themselves, understanding each other and finding a shared direction in which to move forward.
